2021 YUNNAN NORMAL UNIVERSITY APPLICATION GUIDE OF THE YUNNAN PROVINCIAL SCHOLARSHIP AND FINANCIAL AID OF OVERSEAS STUDENTS OF CHINESE ORIGIN
一、招生对象 Eligibility
有意愿到云南师范大学就读的海外优秀华裔学生 Excellent overseas students of Chinese origin who are willing to attend Yunnan Normal University.
二、招生类别及专业 Type of Enrolment and Subjects
1．本科生：华文教育、汉语国际教育、国际经济与贸易、旅游管理、金融学等，学制四年。Undergraduate: Chinese Language Education, Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, International Economics and Trade, Tourism Management, Finance and so on. Undergraduate programs are of four years of schooling.
2.硕士研究生：汉语国际教育、区域经济学等，学制两年。Postgraduate: Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, Regional Economics and so on. Postgraduate programs are of two years of schooling.
三、申请条件 Qualifications of Applicants
1.申请人须为非中国籍公民，且身体健康。
The applicant shall be a non-Chinese citizen and be in good health.
2.来华攻读本科学位者，须具有高中学历，HSK4级及以上,年龄不超过25周岁。
Applicants who apply for under-graduate degree must have a high school graduation certificate, HSK Level 4 or above, no more than 25 years of age.
3.来华攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，HSK5级及以上，年龄不超过35周岁。
Applicants who apply for master's degree must have a bachelor's degree, HSK Level 5 or above, no more than 35 years of age.
4.没有HSK成绩或汉语零基础的申请者，必须参加预科学习,学习期限为一年。预科学习结束时需参加结业考试，成绩合格并通过HSK4级及以上考试者，可进入学历学习阶段。预科学习期间享受同等奖（助）学金资助标准。
Applicants who has no HSK results or is a beginner in Chinese language, must take at least one year in foundation study. After passing the tests and achieving HSK Level 4 or above, he or she can start the degree program. During the foundation study, the student enjoys the same standard of scholarship he or she has been awarded.
四、奖学金标准和内容 Scholarship Standards and Coverage
1.全免学费助学金 Full Tuition-Waiver Financial Aid
奖学金内容：免学费、注册费，赠送来华留学生综合保险。
Scholarship Coverage: full tuition waiver, exempt from registration fees, free Overseas Students Comprehensive Insurance.
2.半免学费+免校内住宿 Half Tuition-Waiver Financial Aid + Free on-campus Accommodation
奖学金内容：减免一半学费、免注册费，提供校内免费住宿（三人间）、赠送来华留学生综合保险。
Scholarship Coverage: half tuition waiver, exempt from registration fees, providing free school accommodation (triple room), free Overseas Students Comprehensive Insurance.
说明：云南师范大学留学生本科生学费为15000元人民币/学年/人，硕士研究生学费为17000元人民币/学年/人。
Note: tuition fees of undergraduate students of Yunnan Normal University is 15000 yuan/school year/person, Post-graduate tuition fee is 17000 yuan/school year/person.
五、申请时间和途径 Open Period and Application
1.申请时间：2021年3月1日至2021年7月1日
Open for Application: March 1, 2021 to July 1, 2021
申请途径：申请者登录http://ynnu.at0086.cn/student报名注册，并上传相关材料的扫描件。同时，下载《云南省华裔学生奖（助）学金申请表》，准确、完整填写完电子表格后上传到系统。
Application: Applicants please visit the website http://ynnu.at0086.cn/student to register in the system and download the scholarship application form, complete and print out the application form. Please upload the completed form to the system.
2.在线查看申请状态：可通过申请系统查询申请进度和状态；
Check the application status online: please check your application progress and status through the application system.
3.请定期查看系统的信息和查收邮件，以免错过重要的通知。
Please check the system messages and your email regularly to avoid missing important notifications.
六、申请材料 Application materials（*为必须提供项）
*1.《云南省华裔学生奖学金申请表》（申请人须用中文或英文填写）；
Application Form for the Yunnan Provincial Scholarship of Overseas Students of Chinese Origin (applicant must complete the form in either English or Chinese);
*2.护照照片页复印件；
Photocopy of passport photo page;
*3.经过公证的最高学历证明，包括最高学历毕业证书和学位证书原件扫描件。学历证明若为中英文以外的文本，需附经公证的中文或英文的译文；
A scanned copy of the original copy of the notarized certificate of highest degree, including the highest degree graduation certificate and diploma. If the certificate of education is written in languages other than Chinese or English, it shall be accompanied by a notarized translation in English or Chinese.
（1）应届毕业高中生或本科生须提供所在学校出具的预毕业证明；
Graduating high school students or undergraduates must provide the certificate of pre-graduation issued by the school;
（2）已毕业高中生或本科生须提交高中毕业证书或本科毕业证和学位证。
Graduated high school students or undergraduates are required to submit a senior secondary diploma or undergraduate diploma and degree certificate.
*4.学习成绩单原件扫描件，若为中英文以外的文本，需附经公证的中文或英文的译文；
A scanned copy of the original copy of the transcript, if it is written in languages other than Chinese or English, it is required to be accompanied by a notarized translation in English or Chinese.
（1）应届毕业生高中生或本科生须提供所在学校出具的成绩单；
Graduating high school students or undergraduates should provide the transcripts issued by their school;
（2）已毕业高中生或本科生须提交高中毕业考试成绩单或本科四年学习成绩。
Graduated high school students or undergraduates are required to submit final examination results of senior high school or transcripts of four years.
*5.申请本科学习需提交HSK4级成绩单，申请研究生学习需提交HSK5级成绩单;
HSK Level 4 result is required for applying for Bachelor’s Degree, HSK Level 5 result is required for applying for Master’s Degree.
*6.学习计划：包括自我介绍、学习目标以及毕业后职业规划等（用中文或英文书写）；
Personal statement: including Self-introduction, hobbies, study goals and career planning after graduation (in English or Chinese)
*7.推荐机构的推荐信；
Recommendation letters from relevant institutions;
*8.《外国人体格检查记录》复印件，来华时请携带原件；
Photocopy of the Medical Examination Record for Foreigners; please bring the original copy when coming to China;
9.无犯罪记录证明;
Certificate of No Criminal Conviction
10.获奖证书
Certificate of award;
七、录取 Admission
云南师范大学组织专家评审小组对申请资料进行审核，综合评定后确定录取结果，并上报云南省委统战部。申请者可在云南师范大学国际学生管理系统http://ynnu.at0086.cn/student查询录取结果。同时，学校通过国际快递为获奖者寄发《录取通知书》和JW202表。请确保系统里填写的英文地址详细和准确。
Yunnan Normal University organizes the expert group to assess the application material, after the comprehensive evaluation, the group confirm the admission result, and report to the United Front Work Department of Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. Applicants can check your result on http://ynnu.at0086.cn/student.Yunnan Normal University will post the Admission Notice and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202) to the scholarship students. Please make sure that the English address in the system is detailed and correct.
